DO I NEED TO BUY FISHYAF GEAR? +
You need to be visibly wearing or using FishyAF gear in your qualifying catch photos.
We don't believe anyone should support or represent something they haven't actually tried.
Wear FishyAF first. Fish in it. See the designs in person. Feel the quality. Make sure you actually love the brand and what we're building.
If you do, awesome. That's exactly who we want in the crew.
WHAT FISHYAF GEAR COUNTS? +
Shirts, hoodies, hats, decals and other clearly visible FishyAF gear count.
We've even had Ambassadors qualify with a FishyAF decal stuck to their cooler.
The important part is simple: we need to be able to clearly tell you're repping FishyAF in the photo.
WHAT COUNTS AS A SPECIES? +
Each unique species counts once toward your Species Quest total.
Catch five largemouth bass? That's one species.
Catch a largemouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, chain pickerel and black crappie? That's five.
You may also unlock additional digital or physical Awards for things like being the first FishyAF Ambassador to catch a new species or landing an outstanding catch.

We'll verify your qualifying catches and get you into the crew.
DO FISH I CAUGHT BEFORE JOINING THE QUEST COUNT? +
They can — if you were already repping FishyAF when you caught them and have qualifying photos.
Your lifetime species list doesn't count. Your FishyAF species list does.
DO FRESHWATER AND SALTWATER FISH BOTH COUNT? +
Absolutely.
Freshwater. Saltwater. Fly. Ice. Surf. Boat. Kayak. Creek. Pond.
A fish is a fish.
DO I HAVE TO CATCH BIG FISH? +
Hell no.
This is a Species Quest, not a trophy contest.
A three-inch fish you've never caught before can be every bit as FishyAF as a 40-pound trophy.
That said, outstanding catches can unlock additional FishyAF Awards.
DO I HAVE TO POST MY CATCHES ON SOCIAL MEDIA? +
Yes. Qualifying Quest catches should be shared on social media with FishyAF visible.
Tag @IAMFISHYAF so we can find your catches and follow along.
DOES MY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT HAVE TO BE PUBLIC? +
No.
Your account can be private, but we need to be accepted as a friend or follower so we can actually see and verify your Quest photos.
DO I NEED A CERTAIN NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS? +
No.
We don't count followers.
We count fish.
We've also seen Ambassador accounts grow quickly simply by becoming active members of the FishyAF community.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I BECOME AN AMBASSADOR? +
First, give us a little time.
We're a tiny family business and actual humans are behind all of this. We'll create your FishyAF Ambassador Profile and reach out with the details. Please give us about a week to get everything set up.
Then keep fishing.
Your first five species earn your Ambassador status, but your Species Quest doesn't end there.
Keep adding species, reach new levels, earn pins, unlock digital awards, complete challenges and see how far you can take it.

We still love big bass. We just made it simpler.
Bass catches are now part of the FishyAF Awards system rather than a separate path to Ambassador status.
Qualifying 3 lb, 5 lb and 10 lb largemouth bass can unlock collectible Bass Hat Pins and digital awards.
WHAT ARE FISHYAF DIGITAL AWARDS? +
They're collectible awards for doing cool, difficult, weird and occasionally ridiculous things while fishing.
Species milestones. Trophy catches. Bass. Challenges. Adventures. And plenty of stuff you probably wouldn't have thought to chase otherwise.
There are already 120+ awards, and we're constantly adding more.
WHAT DO I GET FOR BEING AN AMBASSADOR? +

WHAT IS MY AMBASSADOR SUPPORT CODE? +
Every Ambassador gets a personal Support Code featured prominently on their Ambassador Profile.
When someone chooses to support you while shopping FishyAF and uses your Support Code, 10% of their qualifying purchase comes back to you as FishyAF gift card credit.
The customer doesn't receive a discount. They're choosing to support an Ambassador instead.
The crew supports the crew.
CAN SOMEONE USE MY SUPPORT CODE AND A DISCOUNT CODE? +
No.
A customer can choose to use an available FishyAF discount or choose to support an Ambassador.
Support Codes cannot be combined with other discount or promotional codes.
WHEN DO I GET MY AMBASSADOR SUPPORT REWARDS? +
Ambassador Support rewards are calculated and issued quarterly as FishyAF gift card credit.
Rewards are based on qualifying purchases attributed to your Support Code and are subject to returns, cancellations and the Ambassador Program Terms.
CAN I SHARE MY SUPPORT CODE? +
Absolutely.

No.
Buy FishyAF because you love FishyAF.

Don't buy it because you think being an Ambassador requires you to. That's kind of the whole idea.
CAN I LOSE MY AMBASSADOR STATUS? +
We're not interested in policing people or kicking Ambassadors out because they haven't posted lately.
That said, we reserve the right to remove someone from the program for abusing the program, cheating, illegal activity or behavior that's seriously harmful to FishyAF or the community.
Basically: Don't be an asshole.

THE NOT SO SERIOUS AMBASSADOR TERMS
The short version: Don't cheat. Don't be an asshole. Fish at your own risk.
You don't work for us, and we don't work for you. You're not a FishyAF employee, contractor, agent, salesperson or professional fish model.
Fish when you want. Post when you want. Participate when you want. No quotas, required posts, sales goals or meetings with Karen from HR. We don't even have a Karen from HR.
You don't owe us anything. You don't have to sell FishyAF, constantly post about FishyAF, recruit customers or keep buying stuff. Wear FishyAF because you love it. Participate because it's fun.
We don't owe you fame, fortune or a lifetime supply of fishing shit either. Pins, discounts, Awards, giveaways, free gear, social features, early access and other perks are part of a program we're constantly building and improving. Things can change.
We're a small family business run by actual humans. Sometimes we'll miss something. Sometimes we'll be late. Sometimes technology will shit the bed. Sometimes we'll just screw up. Tell us and we'll do our best to fix it.
Don't cheat. Don't Photoshop fish. Don't submit somebody else's catch. Don't fake weights, species or accomplishments. Don't game the Support Code system.
Respect the fish. Respect other anglers. Respect the places we fish. Follow fishing laws and regulations. Don't harass people, cheat, do illegal shit or represent FishyAF in a way that makes the rest of the crew embarrassed to be associated with you.
Basically: don't be an asshole.
If you tag FishyAF, submit content to us or send us your FishyAF fishing photos, you're giving us permission to use that content in connection with FishyAF, subject to the actual Program Terms.
Fishing involves hooks, boats, weather, slippery rocks, sharp things, angry fish and occasionally very questionable decision-making. Fish at your own risk. Use common sense. Follow the law. Know your limits.
Don't do dangerous shit because you think it'll earn you an Award.
This program will change. We'll add stuff. Remove stuff. Improve stuff. Break stuff. Fix stuff. Invent ridiculous new Awards. Change our minds.
Most importantly, this is supposed to be fun. We're a small family brand that fucking loves fishing, and we're trying to build something cool with people who feel the same way.

THE ACTUALLY SERIOUS PROGRAM TERMS

These FishyAF Ambassador Program Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the FishyAF Ambassador Program ("Program"). By participating in the Program, submitting a qualifying Species Quest catch, submitting a completed Species Quest, using an Ambassador Support Code, accepting Program benefits, or otherwise participating as a FishyAF Ambassador, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. THE PROGRAM
The FishyAF Ambassador Program is a voluntary community program designed to recognize and connect anglers who support FishyAF, participate in FishyAF Quests and Awards, and share their fishing experiences.
Participation in the Program does not guarantee any particular benefit, reward, exposure, compensation, opportunity or result except where FishyAF expressly states otherwise in these Terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY
FishyAF determines eligibility for the Program and whether a catch, submission, achievement, purchase or other activity satisfies Program requirements.
Species Quest catches must meet the requirements published by FishyAF at the time of submission. FishyAF may request additional information or verification when reasonably necessary to verify a catch, achievement or Program activity.
FishyAF may reject fraudulent, misleading, manipulated, duplicate, unverifiable or otherwise nonqualifying submissions.
3. NO EMPLOYMENT, AGENCY OR PARTNERSHIP
Participation in the Program does not create an employment, independent contractor, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise or other similar relationship between an Ambassador and FishyAF.
Ambassadors are not authorized to make commitments, representations, warranties or agreements on behalf of FishyAF or otherwise bind FishyAF.
Ambassadors control when, where and whether they fish, post content, purchase products or participate in Program activities. Unless expressly stated otherwise, there are no required working hours, posting quotas, sales quotas or minimum participation requirements.
4. PROGRAM BENEFITS
FishyAF may offer Program benefits including, but not limited to, Ambassador discounts, physical pins, digital Awards, social media features, Ambassador Profiles, early access, product-testing opportunities, free products, challenges, giveaways, raffle entries, Ambassador Support Codes and other benefits.
Except for benefits or credits already earned under expressly stated Program rules, Program benefits are discretionary and are not guaranteed. Availability may be limited.
FishyAF may add, remove, replace, modify, suspend or discontinue Program benefits at any time, subject to applicable law. Physical rewards such as pins are subject to availability and may be substituted, delayed or discontinued.
5. AMBASSADOR SUPPORT CODES
Eligible Ambassadors may receive a personal Ambassador Support Code.
When a customer uses a valid Support Code on a qualifying FishyAF purchase, the associated Ambassador may earn FishyAF gift card credit equal to 10% of the qualifying purchase amount, subject to these Terms.
For purposes of the Program, a "qualifying purchase" means the merchandise subtotal actually paid after all discounts are applied, excluding taxes and shipping charges.
Support credit may be reduced, reversed or withheld for returned, refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, disputed or otherwise ineligible transactions.
Support Codes cannot be combined with other discount or promotional codes unless FishyAF expressly allows otherwise.
6. SUPPORT CREDIT
Ambassador Support rewards are calculated and issued quarterly as FishyAF gift card credit unless FishyAF expressly states otherwise.
FishyAF may correct calculation, attribution, tracking or technical errors and may adjust Support credit when reasonably necessary to reflect qualifying transactions accurately.
7. DISCOUNTS
Ambassador discounts are provided for personal use unless FishyAF expressly states otherwise. Discounts may be modified, limited, suspended or discontinued at FishyAF's discretion, subject to applicable law.
8. PINS, AWARDS AND PHYSICAL REWARDS
Pins and other physical rewards are subject to availability. FishyAF may substitute, delay or discontinue physical rewards.
Digital Awards, scores, achievements and similar Program features have no cash value unless FishyAF expressly states otherwise.
9. CONTENT LICENSE
If you tag FishyAF, submit content to FishyAF, send FishyAF photographs or videos, or otherwise intentionally provide content to FishyAF in connection with the Program, you grant FishyAF a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, edit, crop, resize and otherwise use that submitted content in connection with FishyAF's website, social media, email, advertising, marketing and promotional activities, subject to applicable law.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and grant this permission.
10. CONTENT STANDARDS
Program content must not be fraudulent, unlawfully obtained, intentionally misleading, abusive, harassing, illegal or otherwise seriously harmful to FishyAF, other anglers or the community.
FishyAF may refuse to feature content or recognize submissions that violate these standards.
11. FISHING SAFETY
Fishing and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Ambassadors are solely responsible for deciding where, when and how they fish and for complying with applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, boating rules and safety practices.
Participation in a FishyAF Quest, Award, challenge or other Program activity does not require or encourage unsafe, unlawful or reckless behavior.
12. LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Ambassadors are responsible for complying with all applicable fishing, boating, wildlife, environmental and other laws and regulations.
13. NO GUARANTEE OF AVAILABILITY
FishyAF does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of Program websites, profiles, tracking systems, Awards, Support Code attribution, social media features or other technology.
FishyAF may correct errors when identified.
14. PROGRAM CHANGES
FishyAF may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Program, including eligibility rules, Quest requirements, Awards, benefits, discounts, Support Code rules and other Program features, subject to applicable law.
15. REMOVAL FROM THE PROGRAM
FishyAF may suspend or remove an Ambassador from the Program for fraud, cheating, abuse, manipulation, illegal activity, harassment, misuse of Program benefits or behavior that FishyAF reasonably determines is seriously harmful to the brand or community.
16. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
Participation is voluntary. Ambassadors may stop participating at any time.
17. NO GUARANTEED COMPENSATION
Except for valid Ambassador Support credit or other benefits expressly earned under published Program rules, participation does not entitle an Ambassador to wages, salary, commissions, compensation, free products or other payment.
18. DISCLAIMER
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Program and Program features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FishyAF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising from or related to participation in the Program.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
20. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your unlawful conduct, or content you submit without the necessary rights or permissions.
21. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
22. DISPUTES
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the FishyAF Ambassador Program or these Terms will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
